Sk Kit

Post by Chrizum »

As most of you probably don't know yet, I'm pretty stupid, and picked the pure Bard class for a change, in BG2. Why the heck did I do this? Why the heck didn't I just choose a kit? Well, I dunno, but I'm somewhere in chapter 2 now, and I want to be a Blade or Jester. Now, I can edit my kit with Shadow Keeper, but when I do, my stats don't change, and even the song remains the same ;)

So, anyone knows if maybe the kit will be "updated", when I go up a level or something? Or do I need to restart if I really want to be a bard kit?

Thanks.

Best way is to create a new character. Copy your saved game from the Save catalogue to Multiplayer Save catalogue in the BG2 directory. Choose multiplayer and load the saved game you just copied over. Delete your character and then create a new one with the desired kit. Save the game, use SK to give your new character XP and learn spells, then move the file back to the Save catalogue.

Don't forget to put all your belongings on the ground before deleting the old character.

Astafas' way will work, but you can use Shadowkeeper. Make the changes you want and set the level of your character to zero . If you don't mess with your xp, you'll pc will lvl with the right stats immediately after loading.
