Hello All,
I've completed most of the quests on Nar Shaddaa as a light-side character. I'm currently experiencing a possible bug with my main character entering the jekk jekk tarr sequence. After I acquire the force breathing ability I open the door to the 1st main area in jekk jekk tarr, however after just a few steps, I am unable to move my character. I am able to rotate within the viewable area but I am unable to mover right, left, forward or back. I've made sure I'm not paused as well. No problems at all up until this point. No other process are running that take away from game performance. I have the latest patch. Anyone else having this issue??
Thanks

I've never had it or heard anyone else who has--but I'm too lazy to search through this entire board on my dial-up--but have you tried just reloading the game from your last save? That usually clears things up.

i've think i had it too... it is because of the smoke if it is the same bug as i had.. everytime there were smoke, my computer fu**** up. I couldn't control my character, and sometimes I couldn't move either... the best suggestion i have, is that you quick-save and reload... it worked most of the time
Nothing lasts forever

The vast majority of bugs in Neverwinter Nights and, by extension the KotOR series are caused by people using sub-optimal computers (aside from graphics, these games work nearly identically internally). Whether it be lack of memory, a very slow CPU, or a graphics card that barely meets requirements, any of these can cause the numerous scripts in the game to malfunction. Now, this creates a number of problems, since it is often very difficult to replicate it during testing. Usually, lack of memory is the problem. You should have at least 512 memory to play this game correctly. If you have 256, you should seriously consider upgrading; aside from a massive performance increase on the desktop you will find that all games run much better. Also try turning off grass, shadows, and fog if your video card is lower end (a GeForce FX 5600 is the minimum for having all those enabled, and even then you must turn certain things off in a couple situations). Hopefully this helps.
