Damage delth with technological weapons=??*??+-*/??

Post by mbz »

I wonder how the damage dealth with techonological weapons is calculated. Does it have something to do with your technology rating, or discipline rating on a specific field?

I know that magic rating increases chances of critical failure with technological equipments. But does technology rating increase to hit ratio?

Damage

Damage is calculated from the sword or other item and then the armor on the enemy reduces damage. To see what it is just watch the numbers rising above the enemy. Use options to adjust the number speed to your liking.

So essentially, Tech aptitude and Intelligence are useless in combat?

One can simply raise Intel to 11 (or 10), boost it to 20 using the potion of intelligence whenever necessary, and then concentrate on using magik...Imagine surrounding yourself with walls of forces and targeting enemies with a tesla gun...

Your aptitude determines how well you can use each type. If you have a low magic aptitude then spells will just fizzle when you use them. If you have a low tech aptitude then weapons like guns could missfire and cause a critical miss.

yeah well said, reffering back to mbz int is important for it determines what you can learn for alot of the technilogical skills and also if you have high perception that's useful because it helps when using ranged weapons like guns, bows, grenades, etc
