Classes question

Post by unholy »

ok i have a question about the sub classes...is it possible to have more than one sub class? like now i m a Valkyrie, is it possible to be a knight or a paladin at the same time?...and if yes, is it still better to keep only one sub class? and if u can have more than one sub class, how many can u have?and what kind of benefit u can get by having more than one?

every class has a learning bonus to various skills so when you combine subclasses you gain their bonuses which is basically a reduction of the cost of raising those skills.
what subclasses you can have is kind of complex. Simply stated, you can join only two class trees. for example, if you begin your game as a fighter and got yourself promoted to a knight than you could not become a maruader nor a death lord.

i know that if you start as a fighter you can pick one of the western type of class trees:

fighter -> knight -> lord
fighter -> marauder -> deathlord

note: once you reach the 3rd tier of a class tree you can only go upto the 2nd tier of another class tree.

since this game tends to throw a lot of mosnters at you, i would recommend that you get promoted to a 3rd tier in a more combat oriented class tree and use the other class tree for a magic oriented class tree.
