Unholy Arc help needed

No matter how many times i hand in the blood the messanger does not come down from the sky. I can see it to the north of the Ark but its too far up in the sky to talk with. Any clues on how to get around this bug. I have gone to prior saved games many times and i still get this problem

from what i've read elsewhere and my own experience, you need to save prior to putting the vial of blood on the alter. after that, just try it and reload your saved game until the messenger comes down. that is the only way as far as i know.

not quite! i can confirm you CAN do it even if you put the vial down and didn't get her, even without a restore.

this happened to me.

I was reading these threads, had the problem, went back to a saved game i THOUGHT i hadn't used the blood yet, went to the unholy Arc, but i HAD used the blood already.

however, i could press shift and it took the blood (the grtaphic did NOT change, but i did get it). i then saved, and then placed the blood again. it took 3 tries, and the third time i must have sat around for maybe 2 or 3 minutes, but eventually the succubus did turn up. it does suck how poor this is, but you can salvage it, even without a saved game from before hand (thank goodness!!!!)

Remnant is correct, I had this same problem. After zoning through the moongate and then returning to the Vale of Ruin, I was able to grab the vial of blood I had placed earlier and then place it back on the pedestal again. This retriggered the messenger.

I have triggered the messanger at least 20 times and it still get stuck in the sky and never comes down. I have the 4 relics of power and without this mesanger to talk with i'm at a loss as to how to progress.

I have had the same problem ive taken the blood and put it back on there a billion times and nothing has appeard but I looked in my quest log and had a quest saying that I needed to go to the tomb of souls or something like that from a NPC that I never talked to,it was saying that I needed to go there now and bargin with that dude havent went yet so im not real sure on it hope this helps a little.
