More classes information please?

Post by DGJ3ll3 »

I know this is a stupid question but I've not been able to get a bit further in this game because my Problems (or my stupidnes) because I can't leave the west gate to arindale but I guess no-one can help me since not many people replied on my Threads... but anyway,

I wondered when you can gain another class... Like warlord or something instead of just a fighter.. I heard people saying about first, second and third Tiers or something but when can you get another tier/class??
Is it you have to earn by doing a quest like the mages guild or the dragon/tiger man in fargrove or something??
Or is it something you gain when you've got enough experience skils or something?

Can someone respond please? :)

Thanks everyone,
Jelle

you'll have to join a guild in order to advance onto another class. in fargrove if you go to the arms of argus and say the correct things you'll have the oppurtunity to join the fighter's guild.
he'll give you a quest as an initiation and upon its completion you'll have the chance to pick your next class and do yet another quest.

some of the classes that i know of are as follows

fighter -> knight -> lord
fighter -> marauder -> deathlord

mage -> sorcerer -> wizard
mage -> battlemage -> warlock

note that once you become a knight, for example, you won't be able to become a marauder or a deathlord.

why can't you leave the west gate? did you get the letter from king davenmore to allow you to pass?

I'm not 100% on how to obtain each class, some have requirements like sex, the order you complete quests, and your base classes. I hope this helps someone though.

leaving fargrove

If I understand you then your saying your having a problem leaving Fargrove to head to Arindale. I had that same problem. You have to go to the Celestial temple and talk to the woman there (Celestine?). She will give you a key to the cemetary. You might have to talk to her twice before she'll give you the key so if one of the dialog options doesn't include her giving you the key, leave and return and see if she gives you new options.
Go to the cemetary, find the relic of power, return to Celestine, she'll send you to the mage next to the moon gate, he'll give you a letter to take to the king, he'll give you a letter to get out of town.
you probably already have quest from one or more of the guilds to accomplish along the way to Arindale. Complete them and when you get to Arindale check in with the apropriate guild and ta da your on your way toward getting/ advancing classes. D
