A Poll, another one, yes!

What's the longest time anyone has spent playing BGII without stopping (except for potty break). For me I think I made it about 8 hrs. before having to eat when that little random prompt came up. 8 hrs. of pure bliss.

I don't know - on some of my longer gaming-sprees I don't keep track of time :)

Well, I guess now everyone will have to try to keep of track of time...

Last night I went home from work and played from 6PM until 3AM - 9 hrs, and I was eating while I played so the only breaks I took were to check the posts on this fine forum!

I am editing the post so I can mention that I am a little hazy at work today, and also for anyone reading this in the future, it WAS a Monday night.

Most for must be maybe 2 or 2 1/2 hours. I never play for too long.

This is rather embarrasing, but probably about 18 hours. not as bad as 28 hours, but enough to make me feel like a loser who has no life.

Admitting your problem is the first step to recovery.

I think I've spent at most 7 hours in one stretch. After that time, almost every muscle in my body has tensed up. I've gone so far as to search out a better desk, chair, and mouse just because of BG2.

ok, perhaps a bit of an explination is in order.

this past winter i went out and bought a new computer, finally tossing my 486 tandy, 12" monitor and all that. my old system could run the ssi gold box games, x-com or civ2 (only one at a time due to lack of harddrive space)

i buy a shiny new system + bg2, i wait two weeks for computer to be picked up, (1gig amd system, 21" monitor) two weeks go by, i get my system, and two days later we get rocked by a snowstorm fri night -> saturday.
there is no place to go, no snow to shovel (apartment) ect. what better time to check out the game...

now of course 4 hrs is about the most i can take w/o some kind of break. (plus now baseball is on, go sox!)

Ah, embrace your addiction, there is nothing so sweet as a gaming marathon for pure escapist pleasure.

I've got to agree with you on that one.

I've never done more than 8 hours straight. By then I need a break. Having a break merely increases the enjoyment, you're itching to get back to BG2 :)

If we didn't count say a 20 minute break for a meal, then I've done about 18 hours. We all have our addictions :)

I think probably something like 18 hours. :D

Dang, I feel so bad! I have played for as much as 6 hours, that doesn't seem bad but.. I'm a high school student, 4.0 GPA and yet I did that DURING school time, I almost fell asleep in honors Chem, and track practice was a nightmare, ever run 4 miles when tired as heck? Dang, that wasn't too good, at least I didn't have to test or race that day!

I started playing a character at my friends house at 2 am, and played until 9 the next morning...that's what, 7 hours? I suppose that's my record. Ever since, though, I've kinda had a reputation here for having little self-control as far as getting off the game goes. Ah well.
