Multiplayer Help Plz

I just started a new multiplayer game with a friend (Starting from the beginning with brand new characters - default XP).
I am a kensai (Dual on lvl 9 to mage) and my friend is a sorceror. It's great fun with 2 main mages but we're planning to play with some NPC's to create a semi-evil party.
What other NPC's are best to use (good characters are useless here), since we need some more skilled fighters?

Korgan is a great fighter. In my opinion, the best in the game. Once you get to TOB, you can get Sarevok. Jaheira's an OK fighter and she'll stay with an evil party. Viconia's not a great fighter, but an excellent cleric with some helpful spells. I hope this helps.

I find that Vic can be a very effective front line fighter. With all the magical equipment out there you can boost any of her faults into a bonus. Mace of Disruption +2, guanlets of Weapon Specalization, Dragon scale armor, etc...

With the right compination of spells and equipment I bet even Edwin could last on the Front Lines. He might need to sleep more is all.
