Minas Taw. How did i get this mission?

I am in the fighters guild and i chose the marauder quest in arindale, so i went back through the woods to fargove and killed the guy who i was supposed to kill who was ambushing people. then i was going to go back to the weapons dealer in fargrove to see what my next fighters quest was, but he never told me anything about it, but i have a new quest in my log to kill minas taw. i don't really want to read any other threads here about it and read any spoilers, but i just want to know more about what this quest is about, why do i need to do it, etc? who was supposed to tell me about it? and why didn't they ?

i think there are some scripting errors where quests appear too early. i have another one on my list that doesn't really make much sense right now too

The Quest appears as soon as you complete your first Marauderquest. It's the first Stage of becoming a Deathlord

yep! you're given guild quests without even asking about it. after you've done one return to report back, get your reward, and come back again you'll be given another quest.

if you want, you can either go to the hall of weapons in arindale or the arms of argus in fargrove and they'll tell you about the quest again.

well that's what i thought, i went to arms of argus but i didn't see anything in the conversation options about it. but i'm now on my way up to bolen fields so i will probably stop off at arindale while i'm (sorta) near there cuz i need to do something near arindale for my celestial quest anyway

P.S.... this game is awesome

If you return to the Guild more than once without having completed the (second) Quest, the conversation will start with a reminder of the Quest.
