Vicona romace-When does it start?

Ummm...if you are still in SoA, then it should start like any other romance starts. Just keep her in your party and you will have a conversation within an hour or two.

If you are in ToB and did not get far in the Viconia romance in SoA, then it will not start.

If your in SOA the romance will not start if you are an elf, dwarf, gnome, halfing or half orc

No, she only fancies Humans and Half-Elves I believe, not a bug... And the romance just starts somewhere.

No, I believe the romance will not start if you are a Gnome, Dwarf, Halfling, or Half-Orc. Humans, Elves, and Half-Elves can have romances.

There are, I believe, patches that will let you have Romances whatever your race or alignment. Same-sex romances, however, still require ShadowKeeper AFAIK.

In general it is true. But Viconia would not romance elves, and Aerie (do not remember how I learned this) would romance gnomes. Though I am not 100% sure on Aerie, I am positive about Viconia, and that logical enough, BTW: It is hard to any warm feelings
between drow elves and surface elves - they would, mildly speaking, argue a little too much.

The half-orc was supposed to be compatible. the programmers said so. Baldurdash had a fix, but the programmers decided not to include Baldurdash fixes.
