how much dammage to people do per hit

Post by Peter_T »

My female elf (mainly a mage) does between 8 and 20 dammage dual wielding sword of flame (before upgrading) and winters dagger.

I was wondering what in 1.1 affects the ammount of dammage you do.

How effective is raising your strength?

Does increasing your skill in the weapon have any effect?

Does raising your skill in ninjisu affect your dammage, if so by how much?

Any help would be cool.

I can speak to the effect of strength on damage output. After level 25, you can 1% per level to you weapons stated base damage. Meaning that you must reach a Strength of 125 to double your damage. Thats a lot, but still pumping up your strength is helpful. This is reflected in your damage category on your character screen. The numbers show your level of damage increase as a percentage. The number on the left being your strength related increase based on points placed in strength, the number on the right is your total damage increase based on strength and any bonuses from equipment (except heraldries and shields if applicable, neither of which provide their stated bonuses currently.

One of the points of character variation is to force players to make a choice. You will have to poor tons of adv points into your female elf to advance your strength, you will basically have an effective cap that is much lower than some other races.

Thanks very much for that Frodo1.

Thats what I thought was the case. If that is correct I'm probably better putting the adv points into one of the magics that spell my sword, or me.

Anyone care to comment on anything else that ups the damage?
