Dual weild - how?

Post by toddhd »

I just killed Boarwhatshisname and became a marauder. Shortly after that I went out to the lake and fought some Moonbeasts to get my moonstone, and the ADV points allowed to put several points into dual-weild in short order. But whenever I click on a new weapon, it just replaces the weapon I'm carrying, same as single wield. Right clicking just seems to bring up the "drop item" screen. What am I missing?

you are probally using medium or heavy weapons. Try light weapons instead i.e. wakazi or katana and dagger and so on....

Maybe if u added an attachment showing your stats we could help u better.

Right clicking will automatically bring up the drop screen, so that's not an issue and I think you have your skills set up correctly.

You may also be coming up against one of the problems of duel wield, which is that not all light weapons can be used together. Generally you can only use one magic weapon at a time. For instance, you can only use the light crystal weapon or the Elven Sword of Speed as a main hand weapon, neither can be equiped as off-hand weapons.

Do like Axis420 says and try to place a katana or just a short sword or dagger in your offhand.

Light Dual Wield allows you to use a Light Weapon (Dagger, Wakazi) as a second weapon (instead of a Bow)
Medium Dual Wield allows you to use a Medium second weapon.
