Vale of Ruin

I could'nt find the way in either and stumbbled on a way you can get in, but make sure u have a Moonstone or you will be trapped in the vale. ok so when your comming from Arindale theres those elven treehouses, the 2nd ones are near the sign post, notice how they have walls connecting them, well go to the right and follow the hillside and when it turns right turn right with it, you will come to a dead end grove with a fire to camp at. Keep to the right and you will see bumpy hillside well you can jump your way to the top and your on top of the mountains, from here head west till you come to this huge fortress or something and I have not found a way in, anyway once you find the fortress vere to the right and go down the mountain, you will know your in the right spot by looking down and you will see swampy area, word of caution, There are demons upthere as well as Dragons, and if you go down the wrong side you could end up in the Black swamp, I hope this helps.

Talk to Staroxia in the forbidden lands and she will send you to talk to Grymlok up in the North Lands. He will give the the final moon glyph so you can use the gates to get to the Vale of Ruin :)
It's quite a way into the game.

I had trouble with this one. You need the crystal from the Sea of Woe. You need to first talk to Staroxia who is west of Skuldoon. Take the South gate from Skuldoon and follow the mountain range to the right and then north to find her tower. You then need to purchase a totem from the tribesman leader deep into the Forbidden Lands. Take the totem to gain access to the north western side of the Sea of Woe. You then need to find the entrance north of The Battlefields of the Dead.

I have found that one has to save or write everything said down during critical conversations. The need a better journal to help the players stay on track.

Grymlock is in the Northlands north of Lake Dire in or around a red tower.

The only way to obtain the moonbridge code is from Grymlock....he gives you a book of bridge codes

I have already done this, also have finished the Shadow Ruins and I still can't get Grymlok to give me the glyph to get to Vale of Ruin :(

Anyone have a suggestion before I try it Seattle_Goth's way?

Did Staroxia tell you about Grymlok when you talked to her? Did she give you the code words to unblock his memory? Maybe you need to talk to her again. I think she talks about Grymlok when you tell her that Emmindor sends his regards.
