Alchemy Question

I recently picked up trickster and noticed I did not gain the alchemy skill.

My question is, is trickster bugged or is alchemy not in the game at this time?

If anyone happens to know if unarmed (ninjitsu) is any good also that would be great, considering picking it up though I don't think I could drain life with fist weapons, even if i had magic weaponry?

my character is currently a budoka and uses ninjitsu and it is amazing. i have 8 skill points in it so far and i kill things very quickly....at least the things i've fought so far. and about the alchemy, i became a sorcerer with another character and, according to the manual and this site, i was supposed to get alchemy also, but did not. maybe it is not implemented yet.

Thanks a lot for the quick response, if sorc doesn't get alch either that's enough to convince me it isn't implemented yet.

I was considering getting drain life but I'd really like to use ninjitsu for melee, and I'm pretty sure (though just guessing, haven't tried it) that there would be no way to have "magical attacks" with ninjitsu. Without the melee attack being magical I'm fairly certain drain life would be worthless so I'll just rearrange my classes and not worry about drain life.

My warlock had drain life and I loved it, that's the only reason I was trying to get it with ninjitsu as well. No biggie though =)

ya, the only magic i use with my character is nether...i usually weaken my enemy and then just beat the heck out of them w/ my ninjitsu lol. i have high agility so my attack speed is so fast that i have no time for casting spells, so i just dont worry about it.

oh, and forgot about the magic weapons thing...i dont use weapons...havent found any fist weapons as of yet, so i dont know if they exist, and if they do, if there are even any magical ones. so imho i would scrap the lifedrain if you decide on ninjitsu
