Samurai Quest - No Ronin!

No matter what I do, what my character stats are or how many quests I have or have no completed - Ronin does not seem to be at his camp fire or anywhere in the vicinity. I have tried for 2 or so days to find any combination that works. I am assuming the camp fire he is meant to be at is the culd-de-sac south of the marked "Venturean Forrest" according to:

I did find one other camp fire, but no luck either. PLEASE can someone shed some light on the non-appearing Mr Ronin Ashuga.. something!

I think I found him east of the trail going through the Woodlands. I couldn't see his campfire from the trail so I had to do a lot of looking.

i found him south of the road closer to fargrove than arindale. east of wooden elf walls and tree houses, west of fargrove and south of the road. he charged me when i came upon the campfire.

Just found him. Man thats not cool. He was so close to fargrove its not funny.

Guess he moves around a bit.
