Quite right. It is your first great dungeon crawl and the first time through had me at the edge of my seat. I didn't know what to expect down there or what I'd be up against. I think I returned to a higher level to rest every single time I got wounded and healed myself, because I wasn't sure if I'd need those spells later! I'm a little bit more careful about when I use magic now, because back then I'd fry every kobold I saw with a magic missile. Oh, how much we learn over time...
