Just have a look at the walkthrough if you don't want to figure it out yourself. Go here and then here.

Good luck. ;)

Ocean View

BTW went through as a Malk yesterday and didn't see anything added with Auspex. which room was it?

BTW Auspex is another see in the dark power for those that shun the darkness.

I went to the ocean house and used auspex. I could not find the woman in the closet that was mentioned before but I did see a spirit I could not see before. Here are some screenshots

I notice that in those screenshots, you're seeing the spirits through the walls. Could those all be the same woman we see throughout the mansion? Maybe the game is spawning her in those positions so you see her running down the hallways when you reach the trigger point.

Yes, I think you are correct. She is the same woman, just always a step ahead of me. I tried to get a screenshot of her running but she is too fast then disappears until I see the next one. I think she is leading me to the locket but I only see her with auspex on. It was still cool to find something I had not found before.

Auspex

Noticed you had Auspex 5 - I only had it at 1 or 2. I've only had it at 4/5 once - just to see how useful it was - quite good to know where enemies are in Hallowbrook.

Did you know that Heather's theme tune is Gwen's "Hallowbrook Girl" ?

Spoilers

Yes I was at level five. I made a new game and cheated up to level five auspex as well as maxed out perception just to see if it would be different. I have played the game through a dozen times honest but now I’m looking for things I may have missed. So I had to try it and see for myself.

“Did you know that Heather's theme tune is Gwen's "Hallowbrook Girl" ?”

I have no Idea what you mean by this. What is Heather’s theme tune?
What is Gwen’s "Hallowbrook Girl" ?

The game I bought came with a bonus CD with all the music. I listen to it often.

I never put points in auspex either as I found it not to be useful or better places to spend the points. That is what is so cool about this game, different things happen depending on how you build your character and the choices you make. Example: I now release Heather because it breaks my heart to see her die. I wish they had given us a chance to save her…

Heather

Heather the ghoul gets murdered in Hallowbrook Hotel (if you don't release her) - Gwen Stefani currently has a hit with "Hollaback Girl". I was not being literal, but there is a clear assonance between the two words.
