Hey everybody, I am at the temple of naga and i found valdane's cell below me. the problem is, I can't pass that one area where you have to pull those four levers to lower the four bridges. Please help!

i'm stuck at the exact same point, but i found the answer to my question by doing a little browsing before asking

Hey guys/Gals
I have been through the Naga Temple several times over now and can't seem to find where to use the gold key... right now I am standing near the very large trap door, am I suppose to jump over this and up the wall on the other side (coz I cant seem to make the jump). When I fall I fall into the cave area where Valdane's cell is.

I'm curious as well, is there a "safe" way through all the blades and stuff in the various rooms? I tried rolling and jumping, but I just keep getting caught in them. Fortunately, I have enough hits points and enough health potions that I just end up running through the blades and dealing with the damage later, but I was hoping there was a better way. I missed the gold key too, so now I'm gonna have to run around to find it. To bad there isn't a map here - the temple is very confusing.
If everybody crosses their fingers, I might have the Naga Temple section of the walkthrough up today.
To get to Valdane, you have to jump across that trap door.
I don't think there's any way to turn off the mechanical traps. You just have to run through them and try to avoid them.
To get the relic you have to find a sigil in one room and then use it in a second room to activate a teleporter.

If it helps, I got past the "long jump" by using the Celetisal thingy of Time. I slowed time down, starting running while looking at my feet, and then jumped just after a got a step or two past the edge of the boards that drop. The slowed time gave me extra step before the boards started to drop, and that was all I needed to easliy cross over. Before, using the time slowdown, I tried and failed about 20 times in a row.
Haven't found the relic for the sigil either, and I'm not sure what I need it for. I already released Valdane.

I also have the eye of the sigil.... a thief told me its needed to get into the queens room..
For those asking where to get the eye, its way back before the 4 lever puzzle, in a big room with a lever, in the centre of the room is a circular smoking pit, the eye is in the centre...
You get a lot of damage trying to get it, i just jumped in, and kept pressing my healing potion quick key LOL

Just out of curiosity, How come I do not encounter any Naga Queen?
I dropped down to the trapdoor at first, but it was empty.
The only thing considered as a boss is that ugly big snake at the beginning of the temple.
Did I miss something if I did not kill or encounter any Naga Queen Whatsoever? (I did not even know what she'd look like)
My character is heading back to Skuldoon right now to give the blood vial.

Got the gas mask now (wish i had it earlier) , but where is the queen? , i went through the doorway which opens (the one near the pool) , and after a few lever pressing, got too a big room with 2 eye monsters and lots of firepit naga's... killed all of them, then pressed a lever... what does the lever do? , i looked around but cannot find anywhere new, unless its a LONG way away.

Take a look at the map I posted earlier. I hate to say it, but you need to go back. The snake thing you fought earlier was just a boss, not the Queen. BUT, the room where the queen is has the relic you are looking for, and that's really the whole reason to be there in the first place. So run back and get the relic!
After you freed Valdane, some new passages opened up that weren't previously available. Make sure you get the gas mask FIRST (you are really going to need it, trust me), then get the sigial, then use the sigil to visit the queen. She'll be a piece of cake if you have that gas mask...

She's in the SE corner, past a ton of snakehead's spewing poison, then down stairs. At least, that's the way to get to her.
