Influencing Handmaiden/influence in general(spoiler)

Post by Davja Eloma »

Ok,I'm on my 4th or 5th time through the game, LS this time. I went to Nar Shadaa after Telos, and now have a ship full of Jedi after finding the sensors on Dantooine.

My question is this:

Is there any point to trying to influence Handmaiden any further? Will doing so get her to talk about Atris when you select the "I wanted to ask you about Atris" line?

In fact, to broaden the question, is there any point to trying to influence any of the members of your party after they become Jedi?

I have gotten Kreia to talk about Revan, anything else to try and influence her for?

Thanks.

Once you've made all the companions who can be Jedi Jedi, there's not much point in influencing them further. The influence thing for them was basically so you'd be able to make them Jedi anyway, and once you've got that, they're done. Most of what Handmaiden will tell you about Atris she does as soon as you get her. Anything else usually comes before you are able to train her as a Jedi. As for Kreia, I don't think there's much after that. She tells you how she was cast down and exiled, stripped of her own power. She tells you about Revan. But most of your conversations with her tend to be there to give you more power, and those--at least the one where you choose your Jedi class--are more light/dark side-based or level-based than based on influence.

Michael Bay: "I don't understand the difference."

I always influence bao-dur, mira, atton, the handmaiden, visas and HK-47
the first 4 because they become jedi and visas to gain force sight
I influence HK-47 cuz hes the easiest to and cuz hes the funniest
Its an hard thig to fall....but far more terrible its to admit it.

This is an interesting one. Handmaiden will only respond to that line when you have some influence with her but not a lot. The idea is that when you have a lot of influence with her she is unwilling to reveal that Atris had feelings for you in case it damages her chances with you.

Not all influence is about having it maxed. You can miss out on a few cutscenes on the Ebon Hawk that way.

If you didn't ask Handmaiden about this at the right point, you are sunk. Unless you use the KSE to amend your influence level of course...

"We were hoping we could bring the Xbox platform into December but didn't want to make the formal announcement until we knew an earlier ship date would not compromise the quality of The Sith Lords," says Producer Mike Gallo.
