Hello All
I am totally confused by the riddles etc. Too much for my wee brain to handle at once.
Which Relic should I be looking for first ?
I have met with Mara and Grymlok (in that order) and still don't know what I have to do.
Furthermore, either I am just lost (thanks to no automap) or the Alter of Shadows and Shadow Ruins are marked incorrectly on the paper map (i.e. locations should be switched with each other) ????
PS> While I am already posting serious questions, anyone have a solution for easy kill of the Stone critters (whatever they are called - forgot) ? They shoot stinging bugs at you and have a hammer tongue.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I haven't gotten to the Shadow Ruins yet. I went to the Naga Temple first, so let me try this part of your post.
The creatures are called "chunnelers" (I think). I just whack away at them until they shoot out the locusts, and then I run away and use potions until the locusts leave. Usually I can kill the chunnelers fast enough that I only have to deal with the locusts once.
If there's a way to get rid of the locusts quickly, I'd love to hear it.

you tried the gas mask ?
or the locust swarm has serious flatulence problem and they damage you by gas or just the programmers decided to cut some time and just "copy and paste" the attack dmg from a poison cloud but without poison

not really true, if you got caught of a poison cloud/fume attack, you can't even drink potion or attack while getting choked...during a locust attack, you can still drink potions and attack... all you have to do is just run around - this will reduce the number of times the locusts can cause damage on you.
hehe ok yes, I know is not exactly the same thing. but I mean, gask mask gives you 100% ressist to poison/poisonus gases, right?
and when you got the gas mask locust swarm do 0 effect on you
then I guess those locust spit you, they expulse flat gas in your face, they tinkle on your eyes or something like that, but they doesn´t bite as I think the first time

it does protect from Swarm. This is very clear an object re-use by the programmer - Swarm is of the same object as Poison Cloud, probably of type "Gas Spell", the gas mask provide no protection against "Poison" type attack, you will still be poisoned by Scorpions/Bees/Snakes even if you are wearing the mask.

I agree completely with Blueray.
The mask will help reduce damage from gas clouds and locusts --- but not poison.
