I am stuck in lower level ULM

I have the armor what do I have to do to get the gate open in the back of the lever room the one I came through? HELP please. Thanks

wich door?
the one where you enter to a room with 4 levers? I hope you didn´t close that door and entered below the door as indiana jones. my bro did that and continued playing, then saved after get the armor and stucked for ever inside of those sewers. has to start back from a very early saved game

if you're in the room that contains the armor...
once you grab the armor the doors shut behind you and this robbed guy appears who you have to fight. at the same time, skeletons start spawning every few seconds. if for some reason you save you game and quit than you're screwed. the door won't open.
