*A cone of flame shoots from your hands, burning the horse badly*

Your spell does 15 points of damage.

The horse attempts to strike you, but it's badly burned legs go wide and miss you.

Usually, I'm not going to give you stats and what not.

You'll have to pick up on hints from my description of whats going on. Like if I say you've hurt something badly, you did a good chunk of it's life. If it's not taking damage, it's either resistant, immune, or there's a spell on it absorbing damage like Stoneskin or Protection from Energy.

*As your standing there, you catch movement out of the corner of your eye, the other horse has snuck behind Kaleb as he is distracted with it's rider fighting the ape. Kaleb is clueless as the horse moves into position to rear back to strike*

The horse screams and staggers backwards in shocked surprise and pain, interupted in his attack.

You do 18 points of damage, stunning the horse.

*Aladine turms to the ape to see what its fighting,*

"Dresh?!"

*Aladine jups and glides to the skeloton and claws him in the face.*

Your claws skitter across the skull of the skeleton.

You do 2 and 1 points of damage, for a total of 3.

The skeleton makes a shrill cackle and says "Dresh? Dresh is taking care of the Shadowperson. He'll be back for you though."

It swings at Kaleb with his sword, striking once and missing the second swing.

The skeleton does 8 points of damage to Kaleb.

The skeleton crumples to the ground. It's sword clangs against the stone floor.

Your spell does 18 points of damage.

You both recieve 1,350 points of experience. You need 6650 to gain another level.

The tower rumbles, more bricks are collapsing througout the hallway. A bleeding white robed wizard runs down the hall towards you and suddenly, and an arrow bursts through her chest and fells her. 3 Skeleton's are coming your way from the direction Dresh went. One armed with a bow.

Sorry, had to run to the liqour store. Got 2 liters of cherry vodka!

Time to drink as soon as thats cold.

The flames fall short of the skeletons, they keep advancing and the skeleton with the bow kneels and fires a shot off at Aladine.
(They are 50 ft away right now. You can move 30ft in a round just so you know. They can't attack you next round, except for with the bow, but if you have long range spells your fine.)

The arrow hits Aladine and causes 7 points of damage.

Your dart fizzle harmlessly as they strike the skeleton's. The two skeletons in front keep marching forward. The one in back fires another arrow at you but misses.

One of the acid darts hits that strange field, dispelling it. The second slams home and hits the skeleton.

Your dart does 9 points of damage.

The two skeleton's in front move into position and lash out at you with their swords. One misses, the other just barely strikes you.

You take 4 points of damage.

Darkness decends on the skeleton in the back and the hall behind it, yet you catch a glimpse of a tall, black-furred humanoid in white silk robes before all goes dark. You feel a rush of arcane power gust down the hallway as you hear bones clatter against the stone. A hand clutching the bow flies towards you as the white robed figure steps out of the darkness, with smoke billowing your way.

Pointing at you, you feel a familiar tug on your minds...

"You two should be gone from here! This place will be coming down soon. Don't forget your mission!"

He starts casting a spell, light flaring around his simian shaped hands and a burst of light swirls around you. Suddenly a heavy mace, trailing black vaper crashes home into his shoulder from behind and you see Dresh knocking him to the ground by brute force.

Through agonizing pain Shawdor finishes his spell and in the haze of a dimensional shift you hear that dry voice again...

"It's been a while Shawdor. Say your prayer's now shadowman!"

You see a mace crashing down against the head of the White Robes as your torn out of the tower and dropped into a field hundreds of miles away.

You hear a rustling sound behind you, and a croak.

"This should not be! Torn from our master's presence through magic. This is YOUR fault!"

The two remaining skeletons, along with the remains of the first two are settled in front of you. They bring themselves to their feet and raise their swords.
