What happens if he's still in his "altered" form? will the red wizards catch up with him in tob?

also, is it possible to finish the harper quests if you're NOT romancing jaheira with tob installed?

1. Edwin will stay in his "altered" form if you go into ToB, hang around in SoA for a while longer.

i finnished tob with edwin,(Male) and chose to remain mortal.

he gets (spoil)

edwin rises to rule the thayvian wizards, for a few days, then mysteriously dissapears.. but there is a woman who works in a tavern.. and they say edwina is a bitter, bitter woman.
