He is located north/northeast of Lake Dire. You'll see a tower standing in a large clearing.

sorry i was in a hurry i ment the mad wizzard at lost lake benn all over it can't find him.

look at the map (get one if you don't have one already, just do a search in this forum), at east (a bit south) of Lost Lake, there is a swampy area, that's the area you should search. I just killed him a couple of days ago. You may need to run around that area a few times if you have your encounter rate set to 'Less'.
