Ok
heres why i think this.. i havent done any further testing.. but its my story.
Im a Fighter/mage... i dont meet the requirements for either Sorcerer or Marauder (skills or attributes yet) and i do the quests and still am given the class... now note... as a Fighter/Marauder you do not get Heavy armor skill... so how could you possibly meet the Heavy Armor 10 requirement of Deathlord? Just though tit was odd that they didnt matter..
Class Requirements mean Nothing
True
This just must be one of the many, many, many bugs in the game. I've had the exact same experience -- every time I chose a class, I never met the requirements, but always received the message "You meet the necessary requirements...", or something like that, and I was able to become that class w/o the requirements.

I didn't meet the requirements for Marauder but was still able to gain that staus although by the time I became Deathlord I had met all the requirements.
And, don't fighters get the Heavy Armour Skill from right at Character creation? I am pretty sure they do. Remember you need at least 3 in Medium to progress to Heavy in any category.

I've been meeting the requirements on my own, just because I would have to if that part of the game were working.

Nope, which is stupid.. if you look at the character creation.. and Look at Fighter and Mage... the only difference is Magic Weapon! other then that.. its just what they get bonuses on... (fighters raise in melee skills at lower cost, mages in casting skills at lower cost)
