Oh my god i'm such an idiot. While attempting to transfer my savegame from one computer to another it appears that I am missing the torment.sav file, and the worldmap file. IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN SUBSTITUTE SOMEONE ELSE'S??? Are torment.sav files interchangable? I have already reformatted the computer that had torment on it before so there's no way to get my files back. At the time I had just gotten to the lower ward. Is there anything I can do, besides restarting the game????
thanks,
Ben

I don't understand your problem. You simply reinstall the game on the second computer, then copy your current SAV files into the saved game directory on the second computer. Everything is transferred properly, and you can play.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
The problem is that I don't have the SAV files anymore, they are permenantly gone because I reformatted my computer that they were originally on. I was playing PST on one computer, then I had to reformat it so i put all the files (except the ones i'm missing) onto another computer, then I reformatted the first computer (the one i was playing PST on). I transfered all the files but the .SAV and worldmap file. does this make more sense?

Yes, I don't think there's a reason you wouldn't be able to substitute with someone else's sav files, though I'd recoomend against it, since they would have likely not taken the same path as you and you'd miss considerable amounts of the game if you let someone play the first part of it for you
Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak
