A few questions....

Post by Xanek »

Alrighty, I think i did the Umar Hills quest far too soon... I was in the second chapter of SoA and did the Umar Hills excepting the shadow dragon which I am asking if it is too early for me to take him.. I am level 11 sorceror with some bad spell choices..and my party is kinda crap which brings me to my next question... How do I get rid of Aerie without getting rid of Minsc...she is now his witch and I am sure that they will both break if i get rid of one....I cannot stand Aerie!! she keeps complaing all the time it sucks. And in chapter two I had a lot of unfinished quests ( ie stronghold and the Renal bloodscalp one) that I didn't do before chapter three. will it badly effect the way my game is going to do them now before I finish the shadow thieve quest im on now? ( not renal but the other one forgot his name sorry.. )

Thanks

Send her in to a battle a long and let her die. :D Don't bring her back, reform party and Minsc shouldn't leave.

Save your game in another spot and try him. You should be able to take him at this level. If not go back to the save you have and gain a level or two and try him again.

A sorcerer huh! If he/she is lvl 11 then all is not lost WRT spell choices. you still have level 6,7,8 choices to make. Do a search on the site or make decision on how you want the sorcerer to develop ie a wizard disabler or area affect destroyer.

Don't pick the Ruby Ray thingies for your Sorcerer; they're not needed for Mage killing. Level 6-9 area spells blast right through Spell Deflection, Turning or Trap. Breach is also completely unaffected (except by Spell Shield, which is remedied by simply casting a second Breach).
