No offense meant, but what have you been doing? I have played F2 hundreds of times, and never run out of time, even when I spent long time just killing things and solving every single quest. Just curious, that all.

And to answer your question, I don't know any way to change the time. Maybe there is somekind of editor that allows you to do it, but I don't know if there is and where to look one.

Did you try to make it in those few days? Or does the boat trip take too long?

The 13 year timelimit is hardcoded into the game, so I would think it is pretty hard to remove it.

Yeah, once you complete the game you have the option to keep playing; thus there *shouldn't* be a time limit (why would there be?). I didn't even know there was a timer to this game; even with doing everything I think I only took a year my first time through. I have to give you props for wondering around for that long. :D
I cannot tell what you and other men think of this life, but for my single self, I had as lief not be as live to be in awe of such a thing as I myself.

I've reached the 12 year limit in my games before, but I guess a person will only reach it if they haven't saved their people by a certain point. The best idea is to simply save the Arroyo at a reasonably level say 21 or late 20s to be safe; that way you'll probably never encounter the time limit.

I ended up using a car and an earlier save when I reached the time limit thing myself.

I never patched my version and I had plenty of time to do all the quests and search for encounters. But I do believe that there is a way to change the hardcode.

Goto http://www.stgfc.com I believe it's there I'm just too lazy to search

there are some details about modifying the .exe here, but it's not very user friendly, since the limit is, as various people have mentioned, hardcoded into the game.

The timelimit is directly linked to your characters age. I always age mine pretty young, just to be sure. I think that you are going to have to restart.
Equalization is good.
Payback isnt.

er, that's a new one to me. I'm not sure what your age does change in the game, but I'm positive it has no impact on the 13 year time limit (which it seems was implemented to prevent problems with the counter that measures elapsed time in the game).
