parking lot rail..possible spoilers (to be safe)

Post by mentaldisorder »

my second time as a malkie, i was doing the slashterpiece quest, and happened into the corner where the back entrance to the gallery is. the rail bar things to the parking lot wall are all bubbly with the item sparkles...when i try to grab it, it says its too heavy to lift. so, why is it there?

also, i had to get blood, and fed off this random dude when no one was looking, but then sumone walked by and saw me. so, i ran into an alley to avoid the cops, but there was this red haired lady there, and she grabbed a torch from the fire and started chasing me with it, beating the crap outta me with her fire stick. ow!. who the heck was she??

Possibly a vampire hunter? Too many masquerade violations and you get hunted down.

Per your original question, about the railings in the garage - you require a certain amount of strength to yank them out. If you don't have enough strength, you can try Blood Buff - sometimes that works. Otherwise, just get stronger.

Well, seeing as how you've already beat the game once (as per your first post) I can tell you that it's mainly used when

*SPOILER*

The Bloodhunt is brought down on your head. It's just an easier way to sneak around a few extra vampires. Nothing really big.

Slasherpeace Quest

You can also use it go get to the gallery w/o bothering Chuck-a-Chuck the guard; if you have high enough lockpicking skills.

As for the torch lady, were you in Hollywood; I thought the hunters were there only? I never really attracted any attention, or broke the Masquerade more then once, so I don't know.

I don't know from experience either, but I believe the game manual says that once you've gotten enough violations, hunters start tracking you down.
