Best guild/house

Post by GA_Havoc »

Hi, I've been looking all over this forum for a thread like this, so here it is. :)
What do you think is the best guild?
As for me, I'll go with the Telvanni, even just joining them will make alot of people like you more.
Do you need a silencer if you're gonna shoot a mime?

Not meaning to diss you, but Telvanni's a house, not a guild. ;) And we have had "which is the best house" threads. But to answer your question: the Thieves Guild. Not because of any intrinsic rewards, but because you can pay to get charges removed. This is outrageous cheese in the game, considering that you can Mark the guild, kill or steal all you want, then Recall to make yourself nice and clean. :D

While that is a great perk to have, Mages guild. I make pretty shiny magic items that greatly increase my town emptying efficiency there. There's just something special about wandering in there, creating a new sword and running back out into the street to test it out.

No problem Fable, but I meant guild as in a relatively organized "official" group following a certain theme, like thievery.
Also I checked the housevote, I admit that not including "house" in my search was a bit hasty, but this way you get a more complete list. ;)

Would you like me to edit the title of your thread and poll question to reflect guild/house? Up to you. :)

I like the Imperial Cult as you get a range of different tasks to accomplish, some quite nifty magical rewards, and for some reason it never seems to charge me any money for the blessings an efficient way of refuelling magicka when playing an atronach based character (without hefting around potions).

Plus sometimes its nice to do charity work.

Altering the title?
Sure, I guess that would give this poll more clarity. :)

As a house, there is no doubt in my mind that Telvanni is the best. For a guild, i really liked Morag Tong... Not because of any perks or benefits, but i just really liked dressing out in plain black clothing and playing the part of assasin. Was a nice break from my usual "godslayer" profession. Besides, how can your argue the coolness of being a dark elf assasin?
