Hello all, some of you might recognize me from replying every now and then to various topics.
I finally decided to start one of my own, and I apologize if it sounds like a redundant topic.
I finished BG 2 my first time last month. Now, I'm starting a new game, having become addicted to this wonderful forum again, hence, inspired to once again walk the face of Athkatla.
My point is, in my first game, I went all the way through with a straight Ranger dual-wielding magical longswords, and he was pretty decent. Now I'm looking for a change.
I recently started over with a Cavalier, but then scrapped the saved game when I got to Chapter 3, for some reason.
Now I can't decide what to start over as, a finger-wiggler, or a hack and slasher.
Any suggestions to ease my turmoil would be greatly appreciated.

choose a human swashbuckler (thief if u want to backstab, but there are other that can backstab as well )and roll these minimum atributes, remember to specialize in two weapon style and long swords if you are swashbuckler.

My party will most likely be...
Squall- Elven Fighter/Mage, Chaotic Good
Jaheira
Minsc
Edwin
Viconia
Korgan
I think it's gonna work out good, actually.
I've got my main PC doing well in magic and melee, with Edwin handling the rest of the magic, Jaheira and Viconia patching everyone up, and Minsc and Korgan for the front line fighters.
No thieves, but you really don't need one. I never use stealth or backstab, and I have Knock and Find Traps to help me out there.
Hmm, I'm liking this arrangement.
Plus, the alignments balance out for a nice, overall neutral party.
