Am I in the right place?(spoilers)

I've made my way past the control room in the Warrens second level. I swam to the end of the tunnel and hung a right. I came out into a room with RESERVOIR 2 written on the wall. Is this room supposed to be full of water? I can't see any way out otherwise. Did I miss something or do something wrong?

Run/Swim Fast before Fan gets to full gear

Right now I'm going to assume the fan is turned off... allowing you a nice pleasant swim to reservoir 1 or 2. To get through this part of the game you have to turn the fan back on (use the main switch). And run/swim your happy rear to the correct reservoir before the fan turns on completely... otherwise the fan will create a current too strong to swing against.

If you don't make it in time, you will have to cut the fan off and back on again, and try the swim all over again. This literally took me 10+ tries the first time around. Also, I get to the point that if I choose the incorrect reservoir, I just turn on "NOCLIP" and get to the correct side... this point of the game is cool and understandable the first time around... but annoying after that.

The room is full of water. There is a hole above you. Swim up through the hole, and head in the direction that doesn't have a grate. When you land, you will have a battle with a pot-belly.
