Yeah, I gotta agree that J is pretty much the bee's knees (as my dear old granny used to say). No other NPC combines such varied skills. Her fire elementals are deadly and last a long time. Druid spells anyone?--steelskins, insect plague, summon woodland being--oh, I'm getting all giddy just thinking about it. Wears any armor (though she should rightly wear an ioun stone instead of a helmet so she doesn't hide her hair). Complaints about weapons limitations are ridiculous: Blackblood is one of the best weapons in the game. Pair it up with the shield you get from the guildmistress for a whoopa$$ combo (and an appropriate reward for completing the druid grove). Switch it out for Staff of the Woodlands +4 in endgame. Let's see, what else? By far the most interesting and rewarding romance plot. Even if you don't romance her the Harper plot is interesting. (Sure, it's buggy, but if you do a little research through the umpteen billion threads on the subject, you can get around the problems.)
I will not have her maligned again!
BTW, I imagine her outside "bedroom" cry is better than her inside one. (Sultry voice)--"Nature's servant...awaits."
jahera is cool?

Jaheira is a great character, but when she died in my previous game, for good, I didn't reload and it didn't both me all that much. It's personal opinion really, her hair pin is a must have though.

Jaheira is awesome but for some reason she never does a lot of damage when I use her (even when she had the gauntlets of ogre power). Anyway, the thing about Jaheira weapons is that while the blackblood/shield of harmony is a nice combo, I gave her the staff of thunder and lightning. It's a great staff, especialy because of its combat abilities and the fact that you can use it tot call lightning (awesome spell) indoors.
You can never hope to grasp the source of our power. We are forever.
Jaheira has a couple of must-have spells. eg:
- Summon Woodland Being. Creates a nymph who has a heap of useful spells.
- Summon fire elemental. Better than the mage version by far.
- Insect Plague. So good I feel guilty using it.
Plus, with the sling I bought for her, she does 16 damage each hit (and almost always hits) and with the club from the Druid Grove (?)she's deadly. Her AC is at least -7 in Chapter 2.
