Devastating combos that you used in DND.
Here you can post your favorite combinations of prestige class features, feats, skills, and the like. Meaning something as monor as haste+improved feint+sneak attack to as advanced as a rage mage with the leap attack feat from the complete adventurer, a 14 strength, the power attack feat, the cleave feat, the powerful charge feat, the monkey grip feat, and tensers transformation active goes into a flying rage and jumps twenty feet straight onto the enemy with a power attack of 6 and a -huge- great axe thus resulting in 2d8+9 (for 1.5 times the strength for two handed weapon)+ 18(for leap attack of x3 bonus instead of the normal x2)+ 1d6 for powerful charge doing a minimum of 30 damage to a single enemy at only a -6 penalty and a possible death doing the same minimum damage to the -next- target.
neither of these I have first hand experienced, but someone in my party HAS.
My greatest thing that I have done is a heightened fireball to 7th level increasing the DC by four and changing it's energy type to electricity as I am an elemental savant which also gave me a plus 2 and my intelligance was at 24 for the time which made the DC a total of 26 for -one- fire(electirc style) ball.

one of my favorite is a sorcerer or wizard / rogue with spider climb and jump. Those make you ultimate mobile in cities and forrests. No need for a balance check, you just get along the wall. Slightly slower yes, but safe, sure and unexpected. Once, within a few minutes, my whole party was jumping around in the trees: monkey see, monkey do

Buffing minions.
A simple skeleton with Haste, Stoneskin, Resist Energy, Protection from Arrows, Shield and Fly becomes quite the enemy.
Throw in a cleric to help out, and you've got the perfect little tank to send off into harms way.

Hehehehe, this one you're gonna love.
I recently was playing a session and my brother created up this -formal- really nicely done boss to use against us. we got into the fight and I got to go first. Now this was exactly what happened.
Me- I charge him with a power attack of 4. (rolls the d20), 20. (Rolls again for confirming critical) 20!!!!! That's a .025% chance that you will roll 2 20's in a row.
DM(Brother)- Ok, you hit, obviously. Roll damage.
Me- (after rolling damage) 56 points.
DM- Excuse me?
Me- 56 points of damage.
DM-...................................................................I HATE YOU.
Other player- Why what happened.
DM- he freakin killed Orgulk in ONE hit.
The other players all laugh at this histarically.
DM- (repeats over and over) I HATE YOU.

*nods* Lets say you have a bastard sword, with a Str. of 18. That's 1d10 +4 (Str mod) + 4 (P. A.) x2=36 max damage possible, average of 18 (with critical hit).
If he had a scythe... 2d4+4+4 x4=64 max damage, average of 32 (with critical hit).
I'm curious too.
That could do it yeah, that has a max of 63 damage on a critical in that scenario. 12+5+4x3=63.
63?
12 (1d12) +5(str bonus)+ 4x3(what is this?)

The "+4" was his Power Attack feat in use as stated in his above post. The "x3" was the multiplier for the great axe on a critical.

Sorry, I shoulda mentioned this before.
I was a Psy Warrior with the GREATER psionic weapon and a +6 strength bonus. I was level 10 at the time. So with the calculations,
3d8 + 18 + 4d6 + 8 = max 74

Just wondering..... but why did the DM send a boss that had 50+/- hp on you when you do an average of 37 damage on each hit?
Thats with a critical hit Fiberfar, looks like with some weapon with a x3 multiplier too.
But still, a boss with somewhere around 50 hp sucks when you can do 74 damage on a crit.

Ha, depends on the boss. If it was a wizard, average HP on a wizard would be what? Say, 45 for a 15th level wizard with a 12 Con score. *shrugs* Stuff like that happens sometimes.

It was an orc barbarian/bard/ur-priest.
He had a total of 56 hitpoints.
Bosses aren't derived just on hit points. He was mutated from the Chaos tech book which made him insanley resistant to slashing and piercing weapons.

Oh I see.... Well if he was an ur-priest he could have done a lot of damage to you then. But as Magrus says, that happens some times.
