Your own homepage/blog site: how popular are they?
*chuckles* Girls say that about me too. It's somewhat embarrassing at times. Promise him a reward of some sort for helping you with that.
"You can do whatever you want to me."
"Oh, so I can crate you and hide you in the warehouse at the end of Raiders?"
"So funny, kiss me funny boy!" / *Sprays mace* " I know, I know, bad for the ozone"

I read a couple online blogs. I mostly stick to people who I know, just to keep up with what's going on with them when I don't see them for a while. Most blogs just don't interest me, simply because I don't care about the day to day stuff, only out of the ordinary or events going on.
Having said that, I tend to focus (for the brief existence of mine) on political happenings, as well as social events (For instance, Canadian Non-Confidence votes, the Star Wars Phenon, the university graduation of friends), and of course, whatever articles I have, and will submit to Buck that he nixes (so far, one) will be going up. Feel free to check it out, to comment, and whatever. I'd like the traffic.

But then I felt kind of proud.
I don't have much spare time nowadays (actually, I do, but I plan it differently with (a lot) less time on SYM), so perhaps that's why I post sensible things... 4:35 AM here. I'm asleep. Or going to.
A question I should post in a seperate forum, but I have no time now: Does/Can oxygen (O2) burn?

Mag: Don't remember much at all of last night do you?
Me: put simply.... No
Mag: From what I put together of your late night drunken ramblings? Vodka, 3 girls, and then we played tic-tac-toe and slapped each other around.

Only public webpage I've made that had any significant traffic was a fan-site about Civ2, which numbered some 10.000 - 15.000 visits a year for a couple of years before I closed it down. Was quite a feat that site cause it was a true "web"site where all pages had multiple links to each other and statistics and strategies. Danged, why didn't I know as much about webdesign/programming as I do know - it could have been a real good site
Other then that I haven't made any public sites - I couldn't see myself blogging, well - then it should be about something technical like programming, development or something like computergames. Not some personal mumbo jumbo "dear diary" type stuff which I just can't understand people placing on the web.

I have a blog, but it's mostly for myself, not other people. I am not a pen-and-paper diarist, but since I work at a job that has men in front of a computer all day, I find it easy to jot down a quick note about something I'm thinking or feeling. It's also fun for me to go back a year or so after a post and say "What the hell was I thinking?"
I've found that people who blog about the little things in their daily lives are usually pretty boring, but if you find a themed blog about something you find interesting, it's often fun to see what other people think about the same things.
For instance, my TV guilty pleasure is American Idol and my blog is heavinly into the show and I enjoy reading what other people think about it as well. I don't keep a counter on my page, but someone I linked to said my page was getting something like 200 hits each day the next morning after one of the shows was on. I don't know if people are still reading my blog now that American Idol is over, but it's something I have in common with other people.
Most blogs aren't worth reading, either because they're not maintained or because the author really isn't very good, but I am always interested to peek into other people's lives, if only once or twice to see what's going on.
