trial of the elders hints-killing elders

Post by glmalek »

Here's something I found out by accident. I was fighting the elder at the end of the walkways trial, and all of a sudden he disapeared. What had happened was, I had backed him off of the ledge, and into the water. Well, once he gets wet, I guess he can't levitate. He also doesn't have a ranged attack, so basically, it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Killing him just takes time, and he's worth about 800,000 points.

In the fire spout area, keep an eye on the elevators around the room, it looks like you can catch a ride up to a room where that stupid mage is and kick his but. I wasn't fast enough, but it looks possible.
Good luck all,
Gray

I managed to kill the elder wizard with spells from outside of the room. It took me the better part of the afternoon (waiting for spells to replenish). But the last one is only worth 360k or so.

Thanks for the tip on the last one. Although, that is not a lot of XP compared to ther other 3 ;)
Still having killed three out of four wasn't too bad either. :D
