returning to brynnlaw

after i had destroied bodhy once and for all in chapt 6 i went to talk to aran again i told him i was ready to go and back on brynnlaw i was i havent tried but this could be a window to many new interesting opprotunities like endless silver swords
i can't go back to the sahuagin city though saemon is at the docks and all but i get stuck in the area where the gith an sahuagin attack the ship i probably could get back by the assylum portal(major bug?)

It's a bug, you shouldn't be able to go back to Brynnlaw.

It's not a bug, I guess you chose the portal directly to underdark, so you missed your chance going to Sahuagin.

No, it is a bug. There is a Baldurdash fix for it http://www.baldurdash.org/fixes.html. (Or here if you have ToB.) The name of the file is "Updated Aran Linvail Chapter 7 Spellhold Return Fix" CTRL-F and search for "Linvail" and it should get you right to it.
