Best is the Zeisson Sha Warrior Armor. It's fairly rare, but it is quite good. Fully upgradeable and it doesn't interfere with Force powers.

The Jedi armour is the best robes, due to the fact you can use force powers, and destroy people with storm easily!

Apparently you don't realize that some actual armors don't interfere with Force powers. Robes are junk since they aren't very upgradeable. Near as I can tell, Zeisson Sha is the best in the game.

im disagree with sha and shel line armors cause the have a +4 bonus cap on DEX, can be good for consulars (Jedi master, Lord sith) but for other classes is fairy useless compared with master Robes ( jedi and sith ones, i prefer sith, i love the black :p ) cause this robes have 2 armor (others only give 1 or 2 more) and no DEX cap, also have force regen bonus and can be upgrated.

Another point is the Look when you wear them, im really prefer the look on robes. Is more impresive see a big guy on black robe than see the same big guy on Pink clothes . . .

The best robe is the Ossus Keeper robe, that can be found in the museum of Onderon (Queen Talia will give it to you, I don't know if Vaklu does). It gives some pretty nifty ability bonues and can be ubgraded - its only drawback is that it makes your character look like a carrot.

Yes if you're just after straight AC with a fairly low Dex then the Zeison Sha is the way to go. Otherwise, if you're not overly bothered about a completely insignificant drop of a few AC then robes are far far better.

The Jedi Master robe was, unfortunately and quite oddly in my opinion, a very under-powered robe. Considering it is worn by the Jedi Masters, I would think it would have some nice stat-boosts or higher AC. Ossuss Keeper is probably the best though, but the look isn't quite right!

I put Ossus Keeper on Visas or Keria becuase there look is not changeable.

In both the times I ran through the game from begining to end I used dark jedi robe (darth maul robe), that by far is the best lookin robe hands down even if it is weak on stats.Doesnt matter anyway for stats because your so buffed through out the game you dont even need any kinda armor, my weaponmaster with that robe had 49 defence and 592 vitality.

As for the master robes they look like trash, the groaing areas on those robes look like your wearing a jock. Come on this isnt baseball, not to mention they are slightly different color variations then a original robe such as jedi or dark jedi robes.

Does anyone else find it odd that you have to be darkside in order to get the Jedi Master robe, While you have to wait to get the dark jedi master robe. I personally think that you should be able to do a VERY hard quest/mission to get the Robes, and the get the jedi be jedi and the sith be a sith mission. And when you finially beat this TREMENDOUSLY HARD quest/mission, the robes should be alot stronger.

Ossus Keeper is simply amazing because of all the stats (it ends up giving you more defense then master robes because of the stats) also as far as the armor goes...altho it is good the max dex bonus is a big draw back. Of the 3 characters i've beat KotOR2 with all of them had give or take +7-10 AC from dex.

I was just goin thro some item lists and although i havn't found them yet imo the 2 best robes appear to be Aleema Keto's robe (3def +4wis +2 str +1regen) for darkside or ossus or perhaps Nomi's robe for light side

Well if your willing to cheat Malak's Armor provides good protection increase in stats and lets us use force powers unrestricted.
Light side = respect trust learning and friendship :)
Dark side = anger fear strength and fun :D

My favorite ROBES would have to be:
Thon's Robe (LS only)
  • Def bonus: 3
  • Saves: Reflex +1
  • Skills: Stealth +4
  • Bonus Feat: Force Focus
  • Bonus Feat: Force Immunity: Stun
  • Bonus Feat: Force Jump

I like this most for the Force Jump.

Next choice would be Ossus Keeper Robe.

For Light Armor: Jal Shey <Mentor>, or Zeison Sha..

the ossus keeper robe is pretty damn good.

i prefer the Jal Shey advisor armor, then the Zeison Sha Warrior Armor for "combat".
but throuought the game, my fave would be the Jal Shey Neophyte until the Ossus becomes available.

I've never heard of Thon's Robes. Damn, I miss Force jump on all my chars, that would be nice to have... shame I'm almost always dark sided.

Well, I believe that robe exists in the game itself, though I'm not sure if it's even possible to obtain it from normal gameplay. Only way I got this robe was with this workbench mod I am using that had a "Give All" command in it; this is on a modded xbox btw. I don't think this is a user-made robe.
