HK 47 question (Spoilers)

Post by capthowdy23 »

I've beaten this game about 5 or 6 times, however there is this one part I'm not sure about. After finding all the pieces and reassembling hk 47, there is a cut scene when boarding the ebon hawk where hk notes the voiceprinted navigational system and t3 attacks hk. When you talk to hk after this it gives you an option to ask about the voiceprint, and he says he can unlock it if he new whos voice was on it. My question is does this go anywhere.....like a subplot, or is just nothing?

Have you seen T3-M4's holographic message? It requires an intelligence attribute of 15 (including stat bonuses).

This message (and the conversation that follows) implies that T3 left with Revan, but was forced to return to seek help as directed to (either by Carth or Bastilla depending upon Revans gender and alignment). It is implied that T3 voicelocked the navi-computer, before erasing his own memory to prevent either himself or the Hawk being used to track down Revan.

When HK-47 is reactivated, T3-M4 isn't happy (the scene cuts to him at some point). He is aware that HK-47 has his own memories of Revan, and that these memories may be recovered at some point. The cutscene you refer to is the point that HK (with some prompting from G0-T0) begins to put two and two together. You are meant to assume that T3 knocks HK out, so that he can erase the memory again.

Other people have pointed out that Kreia claims to have voicelocked the navi-computer on Peragus. However, this only occurs if you are DS aligned and refuse to take her with you when you leave. Put simply, she lies to make sure you take her along for the ride.

Highlight to view the black bits.

I thought the reason T3 attacked HK-47 was because he tried to access the navigational computer. T3 had to figure HK had a chance, since it knew who the original masters of the ship were, and would be able to mimmick their voices.

The conversation between T3 and HK takes place in the wrong part of the ship. The navi-computer is in the c0ckpit (damn that censor). And all HK is doing is exposition... It's what he might do, now he remembers that worries T3.

And I need therapy after that avatar.

Well heres another HK47 question, that I'll piggyback here instead of starting a new thread. I'm at Nar Shaddaa, on my way to meet the Jedi masters on Dantooine, and I've just picked up the HK passification component. I've triggered at least 4 of the influence gaing events, but I can't seem to install this device. Have I missed something?

Just talk to HK; the pacifist package can only be installed through conversation, not the equip screen. You will be forced to remove it at the end of the conversation, but it is worth it. Better than the mimicry of Carth and Bastilla...

Thanks. I've been able to do that before, the problem is I'm not seeing that dialog option. Does it matter that HK has told me how to kill Jedi?

Put simply, I don't know. I'm usually too LS to get that far with HK. I have only heard of one other person who couldn't install the package, over on the Obsidian forums, thread here.

thanks. I think I found the problem. I believe I told him to stop asking about killing, and to cut the exposition stuff. Oh well, I'm a LS Jedi and took the hits to trigger the influence events. Does he ever actually say that Revan was his previous master?
