I'm on the fourth floor in the sphere and Lavok is on the level and he attacks me I have valagar in the group and Lavok doesn't die it just says near death what am i doing wron

Nothing. You don't want to kill him just yet. His circle should turn blue, right? Go talk to him to continue the quest.

He says that Valgar Has duded has and his circle turns red and he attacks me

Once your pounding on him and he is near death, then talk to him again if you can.

He'll then tell you that a demon or something took control of his body and your beating on him liberated it. His dying request is that you take him out into the daylight. He sets the controls to get you back home, and you have to go get a demon heart to power the Sphere for the final trip. So go get the demon heart and place it in the engine room. Does that help?
