Fu Syndicate problem?

Post by Eireannach »

I completed the Fu Syndicate quest, the Nosferatu guy has been freed and the files have been purged from the server. I do not have lockpick level 10 (not even with blood buff), so I can not open the other door down the hallway.

The Nosferatu is gone but I don't seem to be able to leave the building anymore!

Help!
Thank you in advance..

If you freed Barabus successfully, he should have broken down the door to the lobby from the server room.

If the whole quest is completed (all guards eliminated and all date wiped) then the door on your right when you enter the mainframe room should unlock.

However beware:
When you liberate Barrabus you get a choice: either you hack the computers and he kicks the guards' but or you kick but and he hacks. It might block you if you do both and he has nothing to do (I took the first option and didn't shoot a single guard, Barrabus took care of 'em all).

First time I tried I was confronted with an irritating bug: when I left the large hallway the door tried to close on Barrabus. Result the door couldn't move for Barrabus, and Barrabus couldn't move for the door... Unwittingly I continued, I killed the guards, wiped the data, but couldn't get out/move on whatever door I tried. I lost more than an hour before I discovered what the problem was...

Which means we are dealing with a bug in the script.
I've got the same problem LESTAT encountered; stuck and nowhere to go. The Nosferatu is gone, the guards are dead and there's nothing left but locked doors.

Lemme dig up an old save... :/

solved

I went back and opened/closed doors changing where I stood.

that solved the stuck Barrabas quirk.
