Trouble going south of Skuldoon

Post by Griffino »

Trouble is: i can't. Gaurds say "no pass" (in Skuldoonish) and I can't get through. journal entries are, 1. mage Alister, Lord Davenmor.......(old entries die hard I guess) 2. Get Valdane 3. Kill Minas Taw. I am assuming my next quest lies south of this gate. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

What you need to do is go up to the bolen fields and meet a person up there. Then go to the harrow ruins to find that someone is being attacked by assassins. The person being attacked will give you a letter to get to see Vartugg the leader of Skulldoon. Then, when you go back out, after accepting his quests, go to the gate and wonder around the entrance (I don't know the exact location) and they will say you can pass.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Ya, do what siberys said but he left out after bolen fields you'll need to return to Fargrove to talk to someone there. Just go to Bolen fields and then do what that guy says to do and you should be good to go..... to the forbidden lands.
Of course you know.... it's forbidden :) . I guess once you get permission it won't be forbidden any more. It'll be the permissive lands. D

Thanks Siberyns and Ferncliff, I will try that. I have a bad habit of not reading all the blah blah blah in most games, even ones I love. I'm sure I would have known this if I read the book that is this games dialogue. BTW, forbidden-permissive................ :D
