Tribunal (SPOILERS)

Post by ch85us2001 »

I have the game of the year edition for x-box but I can't get attacked by the dark brotherhood assassin like the walk through said I should. Is there sometrhing I'm nt doing right or is it just a glitch?

PS I haven't beaten the main quest.

PPS But I can get to Solsthiem.

I play the pc version and get attacked before and after completion of the main quest, and my lv doesn't matter either.
Maybe you can continue the quest even without being the target of assasination by going to Mournhold and do the searching.
Do you need a silencer if you're gonna shoot a mime?

I usually get attacked before level three (on PC) it really seems to be random. My last character had just levelled to three when it happened. My most recent character was attacked the first time she rested. In the latter case I actually had to reload my autosave, and yet when I rested again no attack occurred, but happened several game days later.

To the best of my knowledge, you can't get to Mournhold unless you have triggered the Dark Brotherhood attacks.

Some transport and housing mods for PC allow you travel to Mournhold before the DB attacks. But ordinarily, I'm almost certain you can't get to Mournhold before the assassination attempts.

DW was right, you can't get to mournhold without being attacked by the brotherhood. Maybe if I get a little way into the bloodmoon quest i will get attacked.

Ps I'm at level 6

No, you don't need to beat Bloodmoon to get to Tribunal. Since Bloodmoon came out after Tribunal, that would make no sense at all...

I don't know, you may want to post your problem at the Elderscrolls forums, and possibly contact Besthesda as well. It could be that it works differently for X-Box, but going by my own experience you you should have been attacked by now.

Yes, that does happen. I was attacked around level 2 or so. There's even been a mod made to lessen the percentage of attacks that occur while asleep.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

So for the advice, just wait and play until it happens.
