Launching ingame sequences

Post by charmer »

For testing purposes in my VtMB localization project I need to launch ingame cutscenes like the chunks of intro sequences from console.

How do I do it?

Thx for the answer

There was another thread on recording live action sequences, and it will work for cutscenes as well. Google for 'FRAPS'. I'm not sure you can do it from the cheat console, and I'm pretty comfortable that you can't do it from the CLI.

Oh no, I don't need to record them. I need to launch them repeatedly from console so I could test whether the subtitles I converted and translated are displayed correctly and male/female anaphoras are correct as well.
That without loading proper savegames or starting new games all the time...

It's a bummer if cvarlist really doesn't include this option...

If that's what you're after, I would suggest playing a game and making a save just before each cut-scene so you can play them on demand.

On the other hand I hear there was some mod or tweak that disables the intro sequence when starting new game. That may give some clues but I'd like to obtain it anyway.

Any idea where??
