to get alien blaster
Could some one hint me on where I can find the Alien Blaster.
to get the alien blaster you must have your luck up to 10 it may seem stupid to have it that high but it helps alot.
when you have your luck up to 10 go onto the world map and travel around abit and you should see a little crose sign when you run into an encounter you may run into brahma and a big footprint with stealth boy in the blood and theres a police box from a long time ago and after that you should run into a flying saucer with 2 alien skelentons out side of it 1 of them is holding a picture of elvis presley and the other will have the alien blaster

if you have any more questions email me at dilio_joe@hotmail.com

ps.i have finished the game over 9 times so you'll be sure you getting the right info!

A few additions: Luck 10 isn't really required, but the chance for the encounter may be so small that with lower than 10 you may never encounter it, or only after long wandering.
The sequence in which you have encounters is random.

That's why they're called random encounters. ;)

You don't need that much luck. All you need is the Explorer perk. (I think that's the name, and if it's not, it's the one with the Columbus-like cartoon.) Then you just have to wander a lot around, eventually you'll start getting the special random encounters (English phone booth, Godzilla footprint, etc.), one of them is the crashed alien ship with the alien blaster.

Spoiler below (highlight to see):

Just watch out as not all the encounters are so friendly. If you run into the brahmin pack or the pariah dog, run like the wind in the opposite direction. It helps to save your game before leaving an area, jist in case.

The other way around also works (f.e. if you don't want to spend a perk on Explorer and like a high critical hit chance).

I wasn't aware of that, as I always did it the way I mentioned because I preferred to increase other stats instead of luck.

Silentcrisis, if your luck is not high enough you can increase it by going to the tarot tent in Adytum and having him read the cards for you.

They will start exploding as soon as they are close to you. And, yes, you will take damage. I don't remember how many cows are there nor how much damage each explosion deals to you, but you can lose lots of hit points, and if you are already weakened you will die.
