arena help!

arena help!
i just started the arena quest and theres supposed to be a shop for weapons and stuff, for some reason theres no shop keeper and i carnt buy anything!

Well, uh, there is a shopkeep, he just doesn't have any dialogue, and therefore you carnt buy anything from him. I personally wouldn't worry about worry about buying anything, though, since the arena isn't really that hard unless:
a.) You're character has very little strength (as in, level 3 or under)
b.) you have no healing potions or spells (which you only might need twice or thrice)
c.) You have a crappy theif character who can't even hold a good fight to a possey of Balverines
The hardest fight in the arena is either the round with like, 25 balverines all at once or the second last fight (which would be the undisputed hardest, but a surprise cameo gives you a hand)
