@Demo...I guess...although I would like for his main strength to be combat instead of military strategy. A general isn't much good in an adventuring party
@Aegis...I think going with DW and Ned is probably a lot better for the story anyways. More ways for interaction that way.
Just to let everyone know, I'm going to be away for pretty much this whole week so AC, Sytze, your characters aren't going to be chased anytime soon

Just an update as to the current position of Amara... It's entirely up to Sytze. Not only have I been flooded with work and the stress of packing for a long trip, but I'm also coming down with what is promising to be a delightful case of strep throat that, so far, has been accompanied by head aches and the complete loss of my voice.
So whatever plot developments you guys want to impose -- go on ahead, but for now she's at Sytze's disposal. Most of you previous Flames know my character(s) somewhat decently. I'll put faith in you guys to not entirely screw Amara over in the tale.
Back in a week or so.

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say, apologies for the absence. I've been fairly busy, but life seems to be settling down to a dull roar again, so hopefully I can tie down my muse sometime soon.

Sounds like fun. If I bring the rope, can I help

Ah, my muse is an elusive beast at times, so I think a more sutble approach might be more effective. I think I'll just sneak up on her myself when she isn't looking

Anyway, I managed to find my muse yesterday, and so posted.
I'm really sorry for the long delay. I think I may have been exhausted from having organised an entire move pretty much by myself. My SO was not able to help because he was required to be out of town a lot.
If anyone needs me to edit in any way please let me know.

Wow! Not much posting over the last week and change. I've been on an extended holiday and am just getting into the flow of things. Should have some time over the next couple of days to check the discussion, the story, and my own notes as I don't remember what I had in mind. Glad to see it's been quiet, it makes it much easier to catch up.
Is anything left of windhaven or have the stranded drunken miscreants totalled the town already. Pretty soon the townsfolk will be turning to the orcs for aid.
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.
I'm well aware that i need to get something going for Snirf and Setanta, but I've been busy as all heck. I'm gonna try to get something up tomorrow, because I won't be alble to Wed...
Well, I got back on Monday night, so I'll probably have a post or two this week. If it's ok with Sytze and AC, Erudish will be chasing their characters. Hopefully then that group will meet up with the wandering people in Windhaven.
I have an idea to throw out that could get my character onto the right side of this story. We know for sure that he's going to get captured soon, so what if a really high level orcish general takes over his portion of the legion and marches them towards Windhaven? Instead of trying to save Erudish, the general and his group tries to kill him along with everyone else, leading to him having to kill his former comrades to save his own life. Obviously he'll be pretty disillusioned after this and will reluctantly help the party find the real evil. Thoughts? Questions? It's just something in the air and a way to get the ball rolling a little.
I don't want to trod upon other people's ideas of how the plot's going to work so if you have any qualms go ahead and say them. If this fails then we can use Ned's idea of having the townspeople turn to the orcs for aid
