Hey weasel, thanks for the advice..I will watch the way I phrase things from now on...

Here's some advice from me...stick to your guns. what I mean is, don't jump on the bandwagon and then jump off later when you're called on it.

You started off by saying all I knew about was playing with myself, then said I was covered in slime, etc...bunch of insults you know. But then when I mentioned how everyone was insulting me for being insulting in my post...you backed off and simply said "Watch what you type".

Well, I did, and I don't say things I haven't thought about. I knew it was harsh when I put it on there...otherwise all these people wouldn't be replying and so many people wouldn't have been thinking about this issue. You ever think that in order for a "junior member" post to get noticed, it has to be kind of a big deal...so I assured it'd be flaming in an hour or so...and here we all are, talking about cheats...just like I wanted to.

Look bro, I don't have a beef with anyone personally, and not with you either, I just wanted to bring attention to the issue.

And as for the insults and stuff....at least cut me down and mean it....I don't mind a slam or two!

OK! Where do ya live, amigo?

OOH!! I've got an idea. You and I can play Neverwinter Nights together! You can hack your guy and I'll play one of my regular guys imported from BGII. I can be like the sucky little "squire" guy, always following you around, admiring your shiny stuff!

Kyrian; 'Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone's got one!'.

Play the game the way YOU like and let everyone else play the game the way they like. How does the way I play the game effect you? And furthermore, why should you care?

This is a bit of baiting on your part for a flame war. Nothing more, nothing less.

Unfortunately, it worked........

Look as long nobody ask for long sword +10 tha gives 100% magic resistace, 100% chance to kill ,dispels magic on hit and -10 AC, that is fine, I thinking on creating a eleven plate mail and a moonblade for myself.
There a lot of weapons that are covered in the "Dungem Master Guide" that are not in the game, if someone whats to use that weapon that is not cheating as you are saying.

Anatres, my dearest mispeled friend, I think you are stealing my (and D.H.'s too) quote there, so you should give me (us) the credit for that.

And, yes, opinions are alike arseholes... we ALL have got one.

As for the subject... hey, whatever you do to enhance your gaming experience is OK with me...

Have fun boys and girls

IMHO, I think that it is fine to create custom weapons. Even I requested one, and I never cheat. All I did was request a long sword version of Casomyor+5. The only reason I did that is because I happen to like using sheilds with my weapons. So what? I am cheat because I add one more - modifier to my AC? I thin not! In the long run, I would've ditched Casomyor for a weapon of about equal strength, and thats one handed. So, it doesn't really matter if weapons are created.

By the way, Amen to Drakron! I totally agree with the valid weapons not in the game thing.

Anyway, IMO, let people game they want. I personnaly didn't do this to "cheat", as you call it. I did this to enhance my gaming experiance. It's just when the +10 weapons come out, then your originol post will be dead on.

Hey I think we might want to listen to this guy. Maybe he's a god or better yet the all mighty of BGII. Bow before him and don't let anybody ever tell you that there is no such thing as the Baldur's Gate 2 god.
Oh my I see him now he's come into my room to try and punish me for my cynical cheating! Somebody help! pleeeeeaaaassssseeeeee don't hurt me all mighty god of BGII! I swear I'll never do it again.
Whew that was a close one. I think I'll go clean out my britches now.
Oh yeah and if you don't like cheating then don't do it, or better yet shut the hell up!

I just wanted to say I totally agree with Drakron. Also, I think that if the people who made BGII had intended for there to be a one-handed corsamyr, there would be one. Just my opinion though. The weapons and armor already put there are there for a reason, to balance game-play in some way or another, and that's why there are not twenty different types of katanas, or any more special armor than there already is. What fun is there if you're going to create your own weapons? Why not just hack in a new character, with maxed out stats, and then go an dkick everyone's butt? Some argue that adding a little insignificant weapon is nothing and is not hurting game play, but one small thing STILL upsets the normal flow of gameplay. It's like telling a little white lie, what's the harm in that right? Here's a story to fit the occasion represented here.

Benjamin Franklin once tried to make a point about morals. He asked the wife of an English ambassador " Would you sleep with me for $50?" She said no. He then offered $100. She said no. So he offered $500. SHe still refused. To save time, I'll skip ahead. He ended up saying "Ok, I have 2 million dollars with me. Would you sleep with me for that?" So finally she said "Ok, for two million dollars." He replies "Now that we have established that you're a whore, how about sleeping with me for $20 ?"

My point is, though you make "little weapons" that don't seem to impact gameplay, by introducing weapons, armor, etc. into the game, YOU still ARE a CHEATER! Creating things that aren't already there is still a form of cheating. Well, that's just my opinion.

Hmmmm I'm not sure what to say.......Oh damn I know exactly what to say!
Kyrian DarkstarI don't give a damn about your opinion. If someone wants to cheat more power to them. I just don't understand. Life is so much easier if you try not to worry about things that neither effect you or really aren't any of your business.

From Webster's New World Dictionary(TM);
cheat; 1 the act of deceiving or swindling; deception; fraud (more follows)...

Now, fit that into anything anyone does to, or introduces into, a game. Somehow that doesn't compute. At least to me. Who am I deceiving (etc.)? Myself? Bioware? The game??? I know what I'm doing, Bioware doesn't care (they have my $50), and the game is just a bunch of computer code.....
