I have been playing for quite a while. I can max out all my weopon skills easilly and as well my armor skills. There just has been one thing I have never been able to level up in. The Magic skills. I have never been able to up my Magic skill by any other means than trainers. I think that conjuration could be a usefull skill but I would like to be able to level in it without spending a fortune.
Can anyone explain how to level up in each of the magic skills?
How do you gain levels for Magic Skills

You simply have to use spells from particular school - want to train destruction just use it's spells. On the beginning you will be able to use only the simplest ones, but that will change . To gain spells buy them from npcs, e.g. members of mages guild in Balmora.

As Nar says, it's all about use. Find the cheapest spell of a given school, and cast it as often as you can before running out of juice; then take a potion to restore magicka, and do it again. As you get better, it will become more difficult to raise that value, but that's true of all skills.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

One question: If you have 100 spell absorbtion on yourself, then cast a spell to do fire damage on self, will you absorb the spell?

Then, as if that was not enough, they decide to get rid of me via sweepstakes as well

I'd expect so. But I second TheKAEnchanters idea What would be interesting, is casting a damage spell on yourself when you had 100 percent reflect

Mag: Don't remember much at all of last night do you?
Me: put simply.... No
Mag: From what I put together of your late night drunken ramblings? Vodka, 3 girls, and then we played tic-tac-toe and slapped each other around.

My Morrowind disc was damaged recently. I've been trying to find a new one, but all of the shops here seem to have ran out of stock approximately 1 week ago (last time I saw Morrowind GOTY in the shops...).try it and find out
