I found 3 Circlets of Saresh already lol

And I've only been to Dxun, Onderon and Nar Shaddaa.
I found 2 on Nar Shaddaa, both in the refugee sector.
Then another one on Onderon of somebody's body, forgot whose.
Not that I'm complaining though

I'm playing light and almost all my party members are light so 3 Circlets of Saresh is very handy

man! how many times have u played this game? this is only my second, so i have never seen one of those...no fair!

and on top of that, ive been to nar shadaa, dxun and onderon, but all i have is some freakin color crystals

! (2nd time playing) luckily, i found a lightsaber 3-times powerful than the one i had before. i should go to dantoine, but i'll save that for latter... what do those circlets of saresh do neways?

I think the amount of times you've beaten the game determines drops. I've noticed that the more times I play it, the more advanced things I get. In a recent game I finished, I saw some odd lightsaber crystals I'd never seen before. Before that, I saw the Barab Ore Ingot, which was one I had never seen before in like 6 games. Then in that more recent game, I had two of those, plus whatever that third crystal was I saw. Also, in the game before my last, I found my first pair of Lightning Gloves; in my last game, I had three.

Well, the Items that you will find are just Ridiouculos. I once found The wookie war chiefs double bladed war blade. The one Zalbaars dad used.

Yes, its weird. My second time playing through I got almost no colour crystals but got 10 Opium ones. I guess its really random what you get.

This is my first times playing...

Well I did already play with a guardian through Dxun and Onderon, but then I figured I'd rather play with a consular and that's the one I found the 3 circlets with.

Circlet of Saresh gives +5 wisdom.

You don't mean that Freedon Nadd's short lightsaber?
Cuz I think everyone gets that one ;p
Too bad you can't upgrade this one though, it would be total ownage

Just found a bronze color crystal... Didn't even knew it existed.
And I got this ownage gem from that salvager you save, it gives +3 str, +3 con and +3 regeneration.
I did load like 4 times before I got the items I wanted

Didn't do that with the circlets tho

I found three Onasi blasters, which is odd considering there was only what, one in KOTOR 1? even more puzzling was that I found one in Freedon Nadd's tomb, and I found another one on board the ravager. I guess there is a dark side to Carth no one's ever seen before

I still think that item drop is completely random, and it all comes down to a luck of the coin toss. My first character I ever used had an unrivaled STR of 40 by the games end. I haven't been able to surpass that with any characters save my latest one: a consular/master with a WIS of 42 (that must have been one smart dude... though I guess it doesn't compare to the chick whose strong enough to lift a car and comfortably carry an 800 pound load.)

More blasters, because ranged weapons are better balanced against melee in KotoR2 than in the previous title. You can really take out some pretty nasty things using blasters or rifles in this title.

no, actually i just got a random double-bladed lightsaber that happened to be 3X more powerful than my 2/3 upgraded, no crystal other than the yellow colore-d, lightsaber...now, i have 3 double-bladed, which is not a problem cause i like them better... (only cause they look cool

) doesnt matter neways...only have visas and kreia (whom i absolutely abhorr and only use her to up my jedi skills

) as jedi, still gotta convert mira (impossible 4 me!) and handmaiden (she accepted, but gotta wait for "when the time comes"....

and back on topic we go!....still havnt found one of those circlets

i noticed the same sort of things, i have 3 saved games, (all not yet complete, but i am on malachor on one of them) and on my latest saved game, all the items where better, e.g. on my first save when i was on peragus, i didn't find a good weapon until the tunnels, but on my third i found a vibroblade on the first body i looted.

Infact this vibroblade is not a ramdom item as im playing through the game for my 3rd time and always got the vibroblade + i've only ever had 1 circlet of wotever and that was dropped by a sith tropper (or something) on citidal station for the second time but i was dark so no use but wathca gonna do

Just finished the game for the first time and i had 3 of those things...never even figuered out what they do or where to equip them lol,didnt know they were a powerful item to find.
What did annoy me is that woman on onderon (i think) that promised me a crystal for an open visa ,and what do i get instead of freeing a woman and 3 kids and probably getting a crap load of light points...I get a damn DS only crystal !#*&^@#*&@&* hehe,that was by far the most annoying thing in the game.

She does have an option however where you can trade what you got origanlly
for 5000 credits or a wepon

wow. I just found a silver lightsaber crystal on a street thug on olderon (sp?) i already has 1 (the duros on telos sold me 1) but on a street thug !?!?!? a sith lord on Malachor V maybe, but not on a street thug

Ye the random drop system just doesnt do it for me good idea but needs to be fine tuned.
